Legendary Akaushi Genetics: Founded in Legacy, Driven by Data
Since its inception in 2015, Legendary Akaushi Genetics has been at the forefront of preserving and enhancing the Akaushi breed. Located on 6000 acres in Nebraska and 1500 acres in Wisconsin, our mission is to advance the Akaushi breed using data-driven practices while honoring its rich heritage. In a recent transition, ownership passed to Steve Cotrelle, marking a new era of innovation and growth. Under his leadership, we are leveraging our unique position of owning numerous rare foundational animals to create new maternal lines through rigorous data analysis and performance metrics. This data-driven approach ensures that we not only preserve the legacy of Akaushi genetics but also enhance the breed's future potential through informed breeding decisions and innovative practices.
